January 31st, 2011: Apartment tour, pre-furniture! The night before we moved in, I shot this quick run-through of our new place. Unfortunately Rahul was still at work, but you’ll meet him soon!
To answer some questions: It’s a four-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse in Chelsea. My room (the wee one) was used by the former tenants as an office/storage, but I can definitely make it work. It’ll be cozy, but it’ll work. There are four of us living here: Bobby, Rahul, Teresa, and myself. Teresa was right, we couldn’t do it all in 2010, so 2011 is the year part three of The Dream comes true.
I’m very, very happy about all of this! Definitely looking forward to making this place our own. :)

I applied to be Tumblr’s Community Intern, y’all. I shot this video because everyone knows I like to wildly gesticulate as I explain things. For more: http://anniefor.tumblr.com

My friend Charlie is moving to Korea today to teach English. He’ll be gone for two years, wow! I didn’t get to go to any of his goodbye parties, so here is my mini memory-party for him on YouTube. :)
Follow his blog for more updates from his journey!

Breaking: Kelly-Heads (TM) a Huge Hit at LMU Graduation
May 8th, 2010: THE PLAN: Wake up at the crack of dawn to make life-size cutouts of Kelly’s head… on sticks. One for me, one for Teresa, and one for KSutton’s family - because what proud parent doesn’t want to savor this last opportunity to embarrass their offspring in front of classmates?!

Here we are, 9:30am on LMU’s gorgeous campus, Kelly-Head (TM) at the ready.

Teresa demonstrates excellent form as she guards the balloons (a nightmare during Saturday’s winds, eek), sips her coffee, and brandishes her Kelly-Head (TM).

Extensive testing with focus groups has revealed that the Kelly-Head (TM) is both Kelly- and Grandma-approved!

Here’s a brief moment with the graduate himself (those of you reading this in your tumblr dashboards, please click here or here to watch, then come back!):
After all that hoopla… we ate lunch with the Sutton clan at this fascinating restaurant called the Proud Bird. Not only are there replicas of old war planes all over the lot, with heaps of vintage aviation memorabilia decorating the walls, but it’s just under the runways at LAX so you can watch real planes landing during your meal too!

After lunch, Kelly took us with him to partake in his last college party at… the Ritz-Carlton! One of Kelly’s friends threw a very lovely party on the terrace by the pool. FUN FUN FUN!

Kelly, best of luck to you in New York and at Blip… we can laugh about Kelly-Heads (TM) while we sip bloody mary’s on your boat… because you’re buying one, and you’ll name it the SS TAK. I’m sure of it.
